I plan on shooting a feature length zombie film this Fall. I was all set to shoot with the Panny DVX100 but I recently saw a film shot on Super 8 and it had the look I wanted. I know people will argue that DV is cheaper but film is film right, it looks better. So I think Super 8 is the way to go. But I would love to hear what everyone thinks.

Yes the film is Dead Life but it was shot on Super 8 and it got distribution. Besides Super 8 transfers well to tv and dvd.

One big problem with Super-8 is finding a camera which can record sync sound. Most aren't crystal sync and sound like sewing machines when running.
